Reading Certificate

The Department of Teacher Education Offers the Reading Certificate Beginning Fall 2010

CSU, Monterey Bay will offer a Reading Certificate Program starting this Fall 2010. Teachers who have been teaching for a few years and want to improve their skills in reading and literacy are encouraged to begin taking classes this fall. Two classes will be offered MAE 630 MAE 630 Emergent Literacy from 4pm-7:50pm on Wednesdays and ED 590 Reading and Writing Strategies for Monolingual and Bilingual Learners from 4pm-7pm on Mondays. A link to the Reading Certificate Program Application is provided below. Remember you must first enroll in the University. To do so, go to www.csumentor.edu. How to apply to the university is explained on page 3 of the Reading Center Program Application.
